Hill Country Office

As a third generation owner of Landmasters Real Estate and Llano native, Andy Virdell holds a long tradition of real estate in his family. In 1985, his parents, Mark and Sherrie Virdell, restored a historic building at 504 Bessemer in Llano and opened their first real estate office, Lone Star Land Company.  In 1994, they acquired Landmasters Real Estate in Sunrise Beach, a longtime leader in Lake LBJ properties, from Andy's grandfather, Herb Stehling.  In 1995, the Llano office was renamed Landmasters Real Estate, and the 100 year old building at 801 Bessemer Avenue became the new home of the Hill Country office.  In 2010, needing more room for a growing business, an addition to the original building brought the current office up to modern standards. In 2024, after 30 years of operating Landmasters Real Estate, Mark and Sherrie Virdell sold the Llano location to their son, Andy Virdell and his wife Natalie. Andy and Natalie strive to keep the Landmasters Hill Country office the most productive real estate office in Llano!

Highland Lakes Office

Since its beginning in Sunrise Beach in 1975, Landmasters has been a leader in the area, specializing in homes on Lake LBJ. In 1994, Mark and Sherrie Virdell, who owned Lone Star Land Company in Llano, purchased Landmasters Real Estate in Sunrise Beach.  In 2005, the Virdell’s purchased Thelma Miller Real Estate in Kingsland, at 1305 W Ranch Road 1431 - a location that had been a real estate office since the 1950’s.  In 2013, the Sunrise Beach and Kingsland offices were merged at the Ranch Road 1431 location, offering an expanded service area that includes not only Lake LBJ, but Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake Marble Falls, and all of Llano and Burnet Counties.
