Mark and Sherrie Virdell hold a long tradition of real estate service in their families – both have parents who were in the business. In 1985, they restored a historic building at 504 Bessemer in Llano and opened their first real estate office, Lone Star Land Company. In 1994, they acquired Landmasters Real Estate in Sunrise Beach, a longtime leader in Lake LBJ properties, from Sherrie’s father, Herb Stehling. In 1995, the Llano office was renamed Landmasters Real Estate, and the 100 year old building at 801 Bessemer Avenue became the new home of the Hill Country office. In 2010, needing more room for a growing business, an addition to the original building brought the current office up to modern standards.
What began as primarily a ranch & acreage tract brokerage, Landmasters now offers a full spectrum of real estate services including ranches, acreage tracts, residential, development expertise, and commercial properties.
