I first fell in love with the Texas Hill Country when I attended The University of Texas and spent time on the lakes and driving the winding and rolling hills outside of Austin. I always dreamed of moving back to this beautiful area. After earning a journalism degree, I worked as a newspaper reporter and high school journalism teacher before serving as communications director for the U. S. Professional Tennis Association for more than 22 years.
While my husband and I were both working in Houston, we purchased a second home in the Highland Lakes area so we could get away from the big city. Now that I’m living here full time, I’m thrilled to have realized my dream of returning to the Hill Country. When I’m not enjoying the area's wildlife and great sunsets from my porch, I love watching sports of all kinds, visiting with my family and friends, and spoiling our only child – a chocolate lab named Maya. It’s my goal to help others realize their dreams of owning a piece of the Texas Hill Country and I am ready to make that happen!
