Welcome to Sunrise Beach

Watch the Sunrise over this gorgeous lakeside town
Sunrise Beach sits along the western shore of Lake LBJ. The abundance of waterfront properties means residents can enjoy the sunrise from their private decks and launch boats from their ramps. Since Lake LBJ is known for being at a constant level, residents can enjoy lakefront activities throughout the year.
This elegant village offers lakeside amenities and a lively community, so there is no shortage of outstanding properties. In fact, LandMasters started in Sunrise Beach in 1975 and has been specializing in homes on Lake LBJ for decades. This town is primarily residential but has a beautiful blend of outdoor spaces where residents can gather and connect.

Friends and family can get together for a delicious meal at a local restaurant or spend the day at a community festival.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Fantastic pizza is easy to come by in Sunrise Beach. Mosca's is a locally-owned pizzeria that is a favorite among residents. Guests can enjoy homemade pizza and a wide selection of toppings. They also serve fresh salads, sandwiches, seafood, and pasta, so there is something for everyone. This restaurant is very popular among locals, so it is a great place to meet some friends for dinner and drinks. Boaters Bistro on Lake LBJ is a must-visit if you want dinner with a view. This fun seafood bistro offers guest waterfront seating and a wide variety of culinary choices. Their new Akaushi steak menu is a local favorite, and you can pair your meal with a refreshing glass of wine from their wine cellar.
Lake LBJ was created as a result of the Granite Shoals reservoir and was named after the 36th President Lyndon B Johnson, who got his start in Texas as a senator. This lake is a popular gathering spot for Sunrise Beach residents to enjoy fishing, sailing, swimming, and other recreational activities. Boating is a favorite pastime among residents, and many people have boat ramps in their backyards. Boating enthusiasts can take their vessels for a spin around the lake or enjoy a slower float down the Llano River.

Things to Do

Sunrise Beach is known for being a close-knit community that supports all walks of life. The Sip and Stroll in Sunrise Beach hosts art exhibits for local artists and wine from local wineries to raise money for the Sunrise Beach Volunteer Fire Department. This event showcases all types of art mediums from paintings, sculptures, jewelry, and much more. There is even a silent auction for guests to bid on unique crafts and art pieces.
There is no shortage of public parks in Sunrise Beach for residents to spend time in nature, and Sunrise Beach City Parks consists of five full-size outdoor parks around the town. McNair Park has boat ramps and two piers so visitors can bring their boats or kayaks and enjoy a day on the lake. This park is also great for fishing and swimming as the docks provide shelter from the winds.
East Lakeshore Park also has piers and boat ramps essential for sailing. This park offers a playground and pavilion perfect for family gatherings or celebrations. Visitors of Granite Shoals Lake Estate Park can admire the lake's natural beauty, have a picnic with friends, or go for a dip in the water. Sandy Park and Timbercove Park are two of the few parks without a boat ramp, but Sandy Park has a huge sand bar, so it is still a great fishing location. There is also an abundance of trees and greenery, creating a gorgeous backdrop for lakeside activities. These parks, along with the others, provide clean public restrooms so guests can feel comfortable.

The Llano Independent School District serves Sunrise Beach.
